The native people from Australia are called the Aboriginals. It is believed that they traveled to the country by boat originally, and came upon this new vast continent. As a nomadic population, different groups traveled around the continent following the best routes. They were a hunter-gatherer society. In fact, before Europeans showed up the Aborigines had extensive trading routes set up throughout the country. As a result of living in many different tribes, they had hundreds of known languages and were rich in art and spirituality.
